Mayfield Park live oaks and peafowl

Mayfield Park & Nature Preserve preserves mature live oak trees that were planted as part of the late-19th/early-20th-century Mayfield estate. The park's gardens and cottages sit among these large live oaks, and free-roaming peafowl are a long-established feature frequently seen in the trees and grounds. The site is maintained as a public city park and nature preserve.
