Bailey School (Springfield, Missouri)

Bailey School, also known as New Bailey School, is a historic building in Springfield, Missouri, designed by architect William B. Ittner and completed in 1931. This two-story red brick structure features Jacobethan Revival style elements and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. After being sold by Springfield Public Schools, it was transformed into 25 loft apartments in 2019, preserving its original flooring, hallways, and outdoor spaces, including a greenhouse, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers.
