California Tower / Museum of Us (Balboa Park)

The California Building and its prominent California Tower were constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition and are noted examples of Spanish-Colonial Revival architecture in Balboa Park. The building houses the Museum of Us (formerly the San Diego Museum of Man) and the tower reopened for public tours offering panoramic views of San Diego. The complex is part of Balboa Park's ensemble of historic exposition buildings and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
