Jerry Tarkanian and UNLV basketball at Thomas & Mack Center

Coach Jerry Tarkanian led the University of Nevada, Las Vegas men's basketball program from 1973 to 1992, building the Runnin' Rebels into a nationally prominent team that played its home games at the Thomas & Mack Center. Under Tarkanian, UNLV achieved sustained success in the 1970s through the early 1990s, including a 1990 NCAA championship season.
