Casa de Piedra (Aguadilla, Puerto Rico)

Casa de Piedra, also known as Residencia Amparo Roldán, is a historic Spanish Colonial-style home in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, built in 1875. It is the only surviving residence from that era in the area, as many similar structures were lost in the 1918 San Fermín earthquake. This significant landmark was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and the Puerto Rico Register of Historic Sites and Zones in 2000. The house is built on stone foundations of an even older building, which some suggest may have been the home of the famous explorer Ponce de Leon.
