Victoria Palace

The Victoria Palace, located in Bucharest's Victory Square, serves as the official residence of the Prime Minister of Romania. Designed by architect Duiliu Marcu in 1937, the building showcases a monumental classical style with Carrara marble facades and intricate interiors. Although it suffered significant damage during World War II, it was restored and reopened in 1952. Since the Romanian Revolution in 1990, it has been the headquarters for the post-communist government. Declared a historical monument in 2004, the Victoria Palace is not only an architectural landmark but also a symbol of Romania's political history.
