Cintra (New Hope, Pennsylvania)

Cintra was a historic house in New Hope, Pennsylvania, built in 1824 and designed to resemble a Portuguese palace. This 2+1⁄2-story, L-shaped dwelling featured a unique central hub with two identical wings and was known for its stuccoed stone exterior. Recognized for its historical significance, Cintra was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, but unfortunately, it was demolished in 2023. Its architectural style and historical context make it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
