Quinta de Olivos

The Quinta de Olivos is the official residence of the President of Argentina, located in the suburb of Olivos, Buenos Aires. This architectural landmark has a rich history dating back to the 16th century, originally granted to a lieutenant of the city's founder. The estate features a stunning Neogothic and Baroque mansion designed by Prilidiano Pueyrredón, completed in 1854. It became a presidential residence in 1936 and has hosted numerous significant events, including negotiations involving Che Guevara and the final days of Juan Perón. The expansive grounds are adorned with diverse flora, making it a picturesque site for both official functions and social gatherings.
