Seattle Great Wheel (tallest West Coast observation wheel at opening)

The Seattle Great Wheel opened on Pier 57 on June 29, 2012, and reaches a height of 175 feet above Elliott Bay. At the time it opened it was the tallest observation wheel on the U.S. West Coast. The cantilevered wheel extends over the water and provides city and waterfront views from enclosed gondolas.
