Washington National Cathedral (Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul)

Washington National Cathedral is the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington. Construction began in 1907 and the main work was completed in 1990. It has hosted national religious ceremonies and state funerals, including services for Presidents Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford. The Gothic-style complex contains numerous memorial chapels and is a frequent site for interfaith and national liturgical services.
