Luxor Pyramid Atrium and Inclinator Elevators

When Luxor Las Vegas opened in 1993 its glass-sided pyramid contained an atrium that was reported at the time to be the world's largest by volume. The resort's inclined elevators ('inclinators') travel along the pyramid's sloped interior and are a distinctive architectural and photographic feature. The pyramid and its interior design are frequently photographed and shared in online images of the southern Las Vegas Strip.
