Heurich House Museum (Brewmaster's Castle)

The Heurich House Museum at 1307 New Hampshire Ave NW was built between 1892 and 1894 for brewer Christian Heurich and is commonly known as the Brewmaster's Castle. The house retains original furnishings, decorative arts, and mechanical systems, providing a well-documented example of turn-of-the-century domestic life in Washington. It operates as a museum and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
