Earle & LeBosquet Block

The Earle & LeBosquet Block, also known as the Redhead & Wellslager Block, is a historic building in Des Moines, Iowa, completed in 1896. Designed by architect Charles E. Eastman, it showcases a blend of Neoclassical and Chicago Commercial styles, featuring early use of terra cotta and buff-colored brick. Originally housing commercial spaces on the main floor and warehouse space above, this four-story structure replaced an earlier building from 1876. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
