Charles Manning Reed Mansion

The Charles Manning Reed Mansion, also known as the Erie Club, is a historic home and clubhouse in Erie, Pennsylvania, built between 1846 and 1849. This impressive 2-1/2-story brick mansion showcases Greek Revival architecture, featuring a striking pedimented portico supported by four fluted Ionic columns. The mansion has undergone several expansions, including a recreation hall added in the early 20th century. With its rich history tied to the area's first permanent settler, Colonel Set Reed, the mansion was acquired by the Erie Club in 1904 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
