Eliot Hall

Eliot Hall, located at 7A Eliot Street in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, is a historic building known as 'The Footlight Club,' home to America's oldest community theatre. Built in 1832 in a blend of Greek Revival and Italianate styles, the hall was saved from demolition by the club's members in 1889 and has served as a performance venue for over a century. The building underwent significant renovations in the 1980s, leading to its addition to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. Today, Eliot Hall continues to host performances and is available for private events, making it a vibrant cultural landmark in Boston.
