Yards Park and Riverwalk

Yards Park, developed as part of The Yards waterfront redevelopment, opened in 2010 and provides a riverfront boardwalk, landscaped lawns, and a sculptural lighted water feature along the Anacostia River. The park hosts seasonal public events, concerts, and a popular shallow-water fountain used for family recreation in warm months. It is a focal point of the revitalized Southeast waterfront and connects to nearby trails and marinas.
