Colonial Country Club and the long-running PGA Tour event

Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth has hosted an annual PGA Tour tournament since 1946, a long-running event on professional golf's schedule now known as the Charles Schwab Challenge. The tournament has attracted many of the game's top players over decades and is one of the Tour's oldest continuously staged events. The course and event are central to Fort Worth's golf history and professional sports presence.
