The Mirage Volcano

The Mirage volcano is an artificial fire-and-water spectacle in front of The Mirage hotel that has produced nightly eruption shows since the resort opened in 1989. The staged eruptions, flames and choreographed sound have been extensively filmed by visitors and shared widely on social media and video platforms. The volcano remains one of the Strip's frequently recorded and circulated visual attractions. The show is performed at the resort's lakeside frontage.
