Ushkova House

The Ushkova House, located in the heart of Kazan, Tatarstan, is a stunning example of eclectic architecture, reconstructed in the early 20th century by architect Karl Mufke. Originally built as a wedding gift from Alexey Ushkov to his wife Zinaida, the building showcases a blend of Empire and Baroque styles. After the October Revolution, it became the central building of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan, which remains one of the largest libraries in the Volga region.
