U.S. National Arboretum - National Bonsai & Penjing Museum and Capitol Columns

The U.S. National Arboretum in Northeast DC includes the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum, which displays collection specimens and rotating exhibits of bonsai and penjing. The Arboretum is also the home of the National Capitol Columns, a set of historic columns relocated from the U.S. Capitol grounds and installed on a grassy overlook within the site. The Arboretum is managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is frequently visited by residents for walking, birdwatching, and seasonal displays.
