Pacific Palisades Business Block

The Pacific Palisades Business Block was a historic building in Los Angeles, designed by architect Clifton Nourse and completed in 1924. Spanning 30,000 square feet, it was a notable example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and served as a community hub until its destruction in the 2025 Palisades Fire. The building was central to local history, with significant events including a rally led by local celebrities to save it from demolition in the 1980s. It housed various businesses, including a Starbucks and an Italian restaurant, before its untimely loss, making it a poignant part of Pacific Palisades' cultural heritage.
