Pioneer Courthouse - 19th-century federal courthouse still in use

Completed in 1875, Pioneer Courthouse is a nineteenth-century federal courthouse in downtown Portland and is the oldest federal building in the Pacific Northwest. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to house federal court functions. Its masonry construction and cast-iron details reflect 19th-century federal architecture in the region.
