Socialist Hall

The Socialist Hall in Butte, Montana, is a historic site built in 1916, representing a significant period of socialist activity in the city. Although it was only active for a few years due to the decline of socialism amidst political persecution, it served as a meeting place for the Industrial Workers of the World. Today, the building, featuring a distinctive chocolate and beige brick facade, houses a sporting goods shop. While it lies outside the Butte-Anaconda-Walkerville National Historic Landmark District, it is documented as part of this historic narrative, showcasing early 20th-century craftsmanship and design.
