Wicklow Hall is a historic Greek Revival residence located near Georgetown, South Carolina, built around 1850 and later expanded. This two-story clapboard structure sits on a low brick foundation and is part of a former rice plantation associated with the prominent Lowndes family. The property features several dependencies, including a kitchen, corn crib, carriage house, and a playhouse that was once thought to be a schoolhouse. Spanning 380 to 480 acres of rice fields, Wicklow Hall offers a glimpse into the agricultural history of the region and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers alike.
