Daniel Billmeyer House

The Daniel Billmeyer House, located in the historic Mount Airy section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a fascinating site for tourists and researchers alike. Built in two sections, the original part dates back to around 1730 and played a significant role during the Battle of Germantown, where it was occupied by British troops. The second section, constructed in 1793 during the yellow fever epidemic, showcases the architectural evolution of the area. Notably, architect Walter Cope resided here in the late 19th century.
