The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Headquarters, completed in February 2022, is the tallest skyscraper in Ethiopia and East Africa, standing at 209.3 meters (687 ft). Located in Addis Ababa, this impressive 53-story building serves as the headquarters for the country's largest bank. With a total floor area of 150,000 square meters, it features modern amenities including eight conference halls, two restaurants on the top floors, and a sightseeing tower. The construction began in 2015 and faced challenges due to foreign currency shortages, but it was officially inaugurated to celebrate the bank's 80th anniversary. This architectural marvel not only symbolizes the growth of Ethiopia's banking sector but also offers visitors a stunning view of the city from its upper levels.
