Harvey B. Gantt Center - Installation-based exhibitions of African-American art

The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture operates galleries in Charlotte that regularly present installation-based exhibitions by contemporary and historical African-American artists. The center opened in its Levine Center location in 2009 and includes gallery space, archives and public programs focused on African-American visual culture. It has hosted large-scale and site-specific installations as part of its rotating exhibition schedule.
