The Ensemble Theatre

The Ensemble Theatre, at its longtime Main Street location, was founded in 1976 and is a professional theater company dedicated to producing plays that center African-American artists and stories. The company presents seasons of new and established works and runs educational and community outreach programs that serve Houston neighborhoods. It is widely regarded as a cultural anchor for Houston's theater community.
