The Cruise Room at The Oxford Hotel

The Cruise Room is an Art Deco bar in the basement of The Oxford Hotel that opened in 1933 immediately after the repeal of Prohibition and has been in continuous operation since. The bar’s design was inspired by the ocean-liner bars of the era and the space retains period woodwork, metalwork, and a distinctive counter. It is a longtime Denver establishment frequently visited by residents for cocktails and its historic interior.
