Urdi House

The Urdi House, located in the Gyldenpris neighborhood of Bergen, Norway, is a stunning example of late Empire style architecture. Built in the 19th century, it features a distinctive portico with Doric columns and a charming garden room. Originally named Uren, it was renamed in 1895 by artist Olav Rusti, who used the house as a gathering place for musicians and artists. The house has a rich history, including hosting Norway's first national folk music competition in 1896. Today, it serves as a studio, gallery, and cafe, offering art training and a glimpse into Bergen's artistic heritage.
