Frederic C. Hamilton Building, Denver Art Museum

The Frederic C. Hamilton Building of the Denver Art Museum was designed by architect Daniel Libeskind and opened in 2006. Its angular, zinc-clad forms and sharp facets were explicitly inspired by the geometry of the nearby Rocky Mountains and the quality of Colorado light. The Hamilton Building houses the museum's modern and contemporary collections and attaches to the museum's earlier North Building.
