Hotel Emma (adaptive reuse of Pearl Brewery)

Hotel Emma occupies the restored brewhouse building in the Pearl Brewery complex and opened as a hotel in 2015. The project preserved late 19th- and early 20th-century industrial fabric, including exposed masonry, heavy timber, and original brewery machinery elements integrated into public spaces. The building's reuse is a prominent example of industrial-to-commercial adaptive reuse in San Antonio's historic Pearl district.
