Rain Room (Random International) at MoMA PS1

Rain Room is an interactive installation by Random International that was exhibited at MoMA PS1 in Long Island City in 2012. The work produces a continuous sheet of falling water through which visitors can walk while motion sensors pause the rain immediately around moving bodies. The installation was part of MoMA PS1’s programming and drew attention for combining technology and participatory environmental art.
