Hezekiah Alexander House (Alexander Rock House)

The Hezekiah Alexander House, built in 1774 and preserved as the oldest surviving house in Mecklenburg County, is a documented historic site in Charlotte. Local lore and some paranormal researchers have reported haunting phenomena at the homestead, and the site’s public programs and tours occasionally mention these accounts. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
