Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture

The Old Red Museum is housed in the restored 1892 Dallas County Courthouse, commonly called Old Red, and interprets the history and cultural development of Dallas County. The museum's exhibitions include artifacts, photographs, and programs that explore local government, community life, and historic events. The courthouse building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and sits in downtown Dallas near Dealey Plaza.
