Mondial House

Mondial House was a significant telecommunications hub located on the banks of the River Thames in central London, known for its modern architectural design when completed in 1978. At the time, it was the largest telephone exchange in Europe, capable of connecting millions of international calls annually. The building served as an international switching center until its closure in 2004 and subsequent demolition in 2006. Today, the site has been redeveloped into Watermark Place, a mixed-use complex that reflects the ongoing evolution of London's urban landscape.
