Mission Concepción - site of the Battle of Concepción

Mission Concepción (Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña) is an 18th‑century Spanish mission that is part of San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. The mission retains well‑preserved colonial stonework and original interior murals. It was the location of the 1835 Battle of Concepción during the Texas Revolution and remains an active historic site visited by locals and researchers.
