Mission Concepción (Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña)

Mission Concepción is an 18th-century stone mission noted for retaining original masonry and many of its 18th-century mural frescoes. It is part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and was included, along with other city missions, in the UNESCO World Heritage Site designation for San Antonio Missions in 2015. The church building and plaza remain a well-preserved example of Spanish colonial mission architecture in Texas.
