Twilight Epiphany Skyspace (James Turrell)

The Twilight Epiphany Skyspace is a permanent light-and-sky installation by artist James Turrell on the Rice University campus, completed and opened in 2007. The installation is a roofed pavilion with an aperture to the sky and a timed light sequence that is programmed for sunrise and sunset events. It functions as a contemplative, site-specific artwork and is accessible to the public during scheduled viewing times and special events.
