Museu da Água

The Museu da Água in Lisbon, Portugal, is dedicated to the city's water supply infrastructure, showcasing its historical significance through a collection housed in 19th-century buildings. Visitors can explore the Mãe de Água das Amoreiras reservoir, built in 1746, and enjoy panoramic views from its rooftop. The museum features a former steam pumping station with large steam engines from 1876 and parts of the impressive 58km long Águas Livres aqueduct, which survived the 1755 earthquake.
