House of Keren

The House of Keren, located at 12 Schmidt Street in Taganrog, is a significant 19th-century architectural monument reflecting local history and culture. Designed by architect Dupont de Laru in a classical style, this one-story mansion has a rich history of ownership, having been home to various notable figures, including a Belgian consul. The building features a unique facade divided into three distinct sections, with four semi-columns supporting a decorative pediment. Recognized as a cultural landmark in 1992, the House of Keren offers visitors a glimpse into the architectural heritage of Taganrog.
