Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences

Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (AJUMS), located in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province, Iran, is a prominent medical school with a rich history dating back to 1955. It evolved from the ancient Academy of Gundishapur and now operates under the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The university features three campuses and offers doctorate degrees across 27 fields through its nine schools, including the only pharmacy faculty in southern Iran. AJUMS manages multiple public hospitals and clinics, providing extensive healthcare services in the region. It also publishes several scientific journals, contributing to medical research and education.
