The Chamber of Commerce in Rochester, New York, is a historic building located at 55 St. Paul Street, gifted by the renowned George Eastman. Constructed in 1916, this four-story structure showcases the Classical Revival/Beaux-Arts architectural style, designed by Claude Fayette Bragdon. An addition was made in 1925, enhancing its grandeur. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. In 2001, the building was acquired by the State University of New York Brockport for use as their MetroCenter, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in architecture and local history.
