Riviera Resort and Casino (demolished Strip resort)

The Riviera Resort and Casino occupied a prominent site on the Las Vegas Strip and operated as a major resort for many decades. The property permanently closed on May 4, 2015. The resort's hotel and casino buildings were demolished in 2016 to clear the site for future redevelopment. The removal of the standing structures ended the physical presence of a long‑running Strip landmark.
