Comerica Park hosted the 2005 MLB All-Star Game

Comerica Park was the site of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game on July 12, 2005. The midsummer exhibition featured players from the American and National Leagues and brought All-Star festivities to downtown Detroit. Comerica Park opened in 2000 as the Detroit Tigers' home ballpark and was selected to host the All-Star Game five years after opening.
