Continental Life Building

The Continental Life Building, an Art Deco skyscraper completed in 1930, is a notable landmark in St. Louis, Missouri, located in the vibrant Grand Center area. Originally commissioned for the Continental-Life Insurance and Grand National Bank, it has a rich history marked by both prosperity and decline. After falling into disrepair in the 1970s, the building was transformed into apartments in 2001, offering stunning views of iconic St. Louis landmarks such as the Gateway Arch and the City Museum. The building features a connected parking garage with an outdoor pool for residents, and its architectural elements have been preserved and restored. Additionally, it inspired the design of Dana's apartment building in the film Ghostbusters, adding to its cultural significance.
