The Orange Show's mosaicked and painted walls

The Orange Show was created by Jefferson Davis 'Jeff' McKissack beginning in the 1950s and is now operated by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art. The folk-art environment at this address includes painted and mosaic walls that are used for public-facing exhibitions and community events, including the annual Orange Show Festival. The site is a documented example of visionary/outsider art that has been preserved and programmed as a community arts venue in Houston.
