Bost Building

The Bost Building, also known as the Columbia Hotel, is a historic site in Homestead, Pennsylvania, notable for its association with the 1892 Homestead Strike. It served as the headquarters for the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers and housed reporters during the strike. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1999, it now functions as the headquarters and visitor center for the Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area. The museum within features exhibits on the region's industrial history, including restored rooms from the strike and information on local driving tours. The building itself retains much of its original architecture and offers a glimpse into the past, including graffiti from the strike era.
