Old South Meeting House - organizing site for the Boston Tea Party

Old South Meeting House was the largest meeting place in colonial Boston and on December 16, 1773 hosted the mass meeting that preceded the Boston Tea Party; colonists used the site to protest the Tea Act and to coordinate collective action. The building survived as a symbol of colonial dissent and now operates as a museum interpreting those events.
