Casa Bizantina

Casa Bizantina, also known as the Don Lorenzo del Rosario House, is a historic house museum located in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac, Bataan, Philippines. Originally built in 1890 in Manila by architect Juan José Hervás y Arizmendi, it is the only existing structure designed by him in the country. The house showcases a unique blend of Neo-Mudejar and Byzantine architectural styles, featuring intricate ornamentation, a chamfered corner design, and a three-storey layout that served both commercial and residential purposes. After years of neglect and deterioration, it was relocated and reconstructed in 2009, offering visitors a glimpse into the rich architectural heritage and history of the Philippines.
